Well, I dood it.

Make my hand hurt just thinking about it and you ought to see this left hand of mine.20 years ago I shot off my middle finger with a 357 and they sewed it back on 3/4 inch shorter and missing a chunk-In December I completely flattened the last joint of left ring finger with a eight pound sledge hammer then on January 16 I nocked the left pointer out of the nuckle at the hand was operated on and it still ain't in right so waiting on another operation all this without pay for this time period. I know what the throbbing was like and ain't looking forward to that again,get well soon.--Leonard
 
Sorry about that Dick. I have a rather odd looking middle finger from a battle with a grinding wheel (I LOST). I was sharpening a small tool & got too close. When I pulled my hand back, there was no nail & the bone was showing & flat as a pancake. I was fine at the horsepistol, til they dipped it into that yellow stuff. THAT HURT. Get well & yet another lesson learned...JER
 
Sorry to hear about the finger. Hope the pain goes away real fast. I have not used a table saw much except as a shaft turning machine. I have always been slightly afraid of one.

By telling us what happened maybe others of us will be a little more careful and save a worse incident from happening. I too have my battle scars, but still find myself daydreaming at times when using equipment. I will think twice before working in my shop today ...thank you!

Sorry to hear of your injury. I wish you a speedy recovery as well....I can only image the throbbing!!

The piece I was cutting was to short and to narrow for a table saw and should have been cut on the band saw but at the time it was set up for something else and I didn't want to take the time to change it. I can tell ya, it hurts like hell.
