Were Fellini cue case tags always sewn in?

I have looked at many vintage Fellini cases, some tags have stitching [straight or zig zag] some don't seem to have any stitching, as though the tag is glued in. Does anyone know if that determines the age of the case? (how the tag is attached) Thanks

Bob Hempel briefly "un-retired" in the mid-1990's and made some cases for a couple of years. These mid-90's cases have Fellini labels which are glued in rather than sewn.

I was recenty was told the real old ones have a loose zigzag stitching and later was a tighter straight stitch.

Sorry, I got it mixed up. I just made a large trade and shipped the cue I sent in a refurbished Fellini as a bonus to my friend and he commented on the stitching. I got it reversed.
