Were to play in Denver?

I will be in Denver at the end of July and was wondering if there was anything going on around that time there? Tournaments,rooms to play in,etc....?

Best rooms to play are probably....
Shakespears - elegant, upscale
table steaks - somewhat seamy
paradise billiards - good players, nice room, action, good tournaments
colorado cue club - nice room

Check out www.cuetimes.com, it has all the local info. Regarding where to play, it depends on what you're looking for.

Paradise is an old school room with a great weekly tournament on Thursday nights, best players in town go there every week.

Up north there's Colorado Cue Club, out east there's Rack 'em and Table steaks east. My favorite room now days is Table Steaks South (tough tournament Sunday afternoons). If you like fancy rooms, Shakespears is downtown.

If you are in Denver on a Thursday night check out the tournament at Paradise (in Wheatridge). It's a great tournament. I try to play in it whenever I'm in Denver.
