West System 207

When using west system 207 for a sealer and base coat how long do you have to wait before you add another coat in between coats?

Do you have to wait for it to dry and sand before adding another coat?

The West System site says you can put on three coats in a day, and the cure to solid time is 12-18 hours.
Why use as a base coat when it can be the sealer and final finish?

I only put 1 coat on a day. Reason being is that I want to sand out any spots that I'm not happy with. West systems has has very little UV protection and will yellow if you don't use something with UV protection over top.

West System says the 207 hardener has an UV inhibitor.
What do you use as a finish coat for better protection?

I use Dupont Chromaclear over the top. Been using this combination for years and very happy with the results.
