Weelll....Ya know I'd love to, but some of them West Texas players might start remembering when I played out of Amarillo Slims and stop trying to get me on the hook;)lol

I may try and make it anyway, it;s only a couple of hours...
Anyone else from DFW want to go?
 
Turnout

The field for this month was lower than usual (29), but we had a good turnout of talent!.

Top picks were Johnny Escalante from San Angelo, Donnie Ottaberry from Odessa. Also in attendance were Jody Hall, Freddy Mendoza, Jason Dutchover, Shane Harvey, Pat Soto, and previous winner, Curtis Tidmore.

Results:
1st -Jason Dutchover (Lovington, NM)
2nd - Johnny Escalante (San Angelo, TX)
3rd - Shane Harvey (Lubbock, TX)
4th - A.J. Hidalgo (Odessa, TX)
 
50 dollar bounty

We also had a bounty this month. First person to break and run or snap the 9 on the break on a hill hill match got 50 on the spot.

Kim Pearce did it against Armando Ramirez (Break n Run)

Congrats to her!

September 19 door open at noon.tournament start at 2:00pm $25+5 green fee & cal$$$$$ . Race to 9 and 7 **alternating breaks** come and join the fun ;)
 
anyone coming out to the next one?

We should get the amarillo, abilene, lubbock, and san angelo crowd together and form our own little regional tour between us. I think we could get a good crown going. What do you all think?
