West Texas Regional Team Tournament

July 31st-August 1st

Fast Eddies in Lubbock (7302 University Blvd. Lubbock Tx)

Play begins at 9 am sharp!



Tournament Director: Cesar Sanchez-OAPPL League Operator

5 man teams (2 subs allowed). Race to 13. 8 ball.

Double elimination. BCA Rules.

Players must come from within your town.

Invite to all players from west Texas region only

(Amarillo, Abilene, Odessa, Midland, San Angelo, El Paso, Lubbock)

Limited to first 48 teams to sign up. Top quarter of the field paid.

Casual Dress code.

Early deadline: postmarked by July 9th.

25.00 late fee after July 9th. Will take sign up until the field is filled.

Confused???

You said that it is a tournament for west texas region which i dont think includes new mexico or oklahoma....and the other question is you are saying that you can put together a team of any players as long as they are from the same town. Do any of the rules of the bca apply? (ie same team from league, three original players, etc??)

The only rule that will apply to us is that no more than 1 master player on a team. Other than that we just want to get as much participation from our area within 250 miles of lubbock. So no, they don't have to be from the same league or even 3 original members from a team. They do have to come from the same town though.
 
how many teams do you have so far? Did Justin P and Jacob P sign us up on time?

So far we are looking at around 6 teams. Justin and Jacob did sign up. I think I might have to get some money guaranteed for first. That might get us some more teams.

Hey guys, sorry, I forgot to post how much the entry fee was. The fee is 150 dollars per team. Get signed up, it is not too late!! I will be taking entries that friday night before the tourney also. Where are the abilene, El Paso, and San Angelo people? I know you guys have some talented people. Let's see what you can do.

I should be arriving in lubbock in about 30 minutes. I will be there til they close if you still want to sign up. Play is supposed to begin tomorrow at 9 am. I plan to start at that time. You can call me if you need to sign up.

Only 7 teams...Western Horseman #1 from Amarillo won 1st $750 plus $330 from auction...Bad Boyz from Odessa 2nd $300 plus $100 from auction. There will be another one of these 5 man team tournaments in Amarillo on Sept 11-12 at Landsharks Billiards...any 5 players with in same league system only 1 master per team...$150 entry on valley bar boxes...spread the word...would like to get at least 16 teams.
