Well,thats What A Forum Can Help Do Because Most Of The Conflicts Are Being Worked Out And The City Of Chessapeake Va Stepped In And With Barry They Have Moved The Us Open To Sept 25-oct 1. There Has Been Alot Of Post Postive And Negative About This Situation And I Hope Nobody Has Taken Any Of This The Wrong Way Because Pool Is Whats Import To Us All And Now We Can Hope All Of These Tours Succeed. None Of Us Really Hoped The Ipt Fails And That Wasnt What This Dicsussion Should Have Been Turned Into,if Kt Can Make Pool Better Than I Wish Him The Best! Barry Has Moved The Dates And I Expect Next Year This Should Not Happen If The Ipt Expects To Gain Support From Pool Fans Everywhere.

> Damn,I'm glad to hear that,seriously and without blaming anyone for this near-fiasco. As much as Barry has done for the game,with whatever problems he's said to have had,self-imposed or the result of something inconceivable,not to mention the self-inflicted financial roller-coaster it apparently causes,to just jerk the U.S. Open out from under him,or intentionally try to sabotage it IF that was the case,would be no different than us stealing land from the Native Americans,in my book. Look at the number of people he's made happy and to feel entertained by his events,all the way back to the days in the back room at Q-Masters,the number of people he's managed to keep employed at his events and different rooms,the effect on the local economy this event has,and how badly things could go downhill forever if this event was trashed or simply didn't happen,it's enough to make a true fan cry. Most cheerfully,now we won't have to watch it unfold,:). Tommy D.
