i am playing so bad after playing so good (for me) i can't make a ball.going to a chiropractor tomorrow.has anyone got back where they need to be with an adjustment?
thanks

I am guessing that you are referring to a back issue.

I'll be 60 in Sept. & ruptured my L5S1 dics a little over 3 years ago & opted for no surgery. In fact I never went back to a Doctor after the MRI.

They can heal on their own with REST. I'm not perfect but I'm fine. I know it's there & can feel it at times if I'm on my feet all day or I over do some physical activity. I'm good for 2 to 3 hours of just myself at the table but I can feel it for an hour or two afterward.

The bottom line is my game has not suffered from it other than long term stamina without any discomfort.

Anyway, that's my story. I hope I guessed correctly.

yes

it's back problems ,muscle spasms.gone to hell almost overnight.neck grinding like sand too.
thanks

Don't overlook an adjustment by an osteopath. It's different but can be quite effective. Maybe some orthotics or a different shoe altogether might help you. I've tried them all and these last few have helped me the most. You can PM me about my best fix. No real secret, I just don't want to tell the whole forum I do yoga. Wait . . . DOH!!

If it is just spasms, I know I just said 'just', sorry, you need electrolites, etc, potassium, magnesium, & stretch them.

I have the neck grinding as well from an old injury but it does not usually hurt me at all, unless I sleep real wrong on it.

Good Luck & Best Wishes.
I'll include you in my prayers tonight as well.

I hurt my back in 1985. Went to a CP for 12 years and it really helped. I would not slow down like they said and have been paying for it every since. Had 2 Surg's and still to this day I am limited to what or how long I can do anything. The best advice I can give is to rest and take your time to heal. It is a LONG process and will only get worse if you are not careful. Good luck

back problems

If you wear eyeglasses, you would be surprised how badly your posture is compromised by trying to shoot pool and look thru your regular eyeglasses.

Before I get into trouble

I am a newbie here and should intro myself. Gordon from www.billiard-eyeglasses.com . I make custom Prescription Billiard Eyeglasses. I do not wish to miss lead anybody with my last post but if you wear eyeglasses, and play pool, you are constantly adjusting your posture, to look thru the glasses. One on the most common compliments I get about my Billiard Eyeglasses, is that the client is able to now get into a more comfortable posture. They do not have to adjust their neck, krink their back or create all sorts of crazy stances to shoot. They tell me their game has improve, their stroke is better, they are able to play game after game( with no neck or back strain) and they are much happier.

Thank you.
