Dislike me all you want.. You will really hate me if I listed all my collection cues with their prices... Anyways... you might dislike me but Citibank loves me.... :D

Yeah, but can you "use" those cues?

Sure I can 'use' them.. I 'use' them to beat my wife, kids, pets ... and I might just 'use' them to beat you... :D

"Might" being the key word! It won't be free (for one of us) to find out. BTW, if you ever find any Joss cues from the 80's let me know.

I have a Bob Hunter custom cue worth 2,000 dollars - Cocobolo with ivory stars and birdseye maple points. I have had it about 8 years, and after having this one, I have never considered playing with another.

Ya know...I am still trying to find the cue in that picture? I was lousy at Highlights as a kid! LMAO

You should sell it to the guy who offered $23k.
IT'S A FREAKIN PIECE OF WOOD! :D

Or -
Maybe I should have sold it to Fat Eric in Johnston City for $350.
OR -
Maybe I should have sold it to Buddy a couple of years later for $500.
OR -
Maybe I should have sold it to 5 different people who offered over $5K within 3 years of George Balabushka's death.

Hell, according to your way of thinking (or not thinking), A Stradivarius Violin is just a piece of wood also.

FYI - The Dallas Dentist who wrote the check for $23K calls about every 2 years and tells me that the check could still be good.
We are now friends and he has said - I know if the check is ever cashed - The stick is "On The Way"!
And He's right!

play cue

I play with a custom Dzuricky...titlist look butt...1 bushka style ring....1ebony/ivory ring on butt sleve....one matching e/i at the half splice. The main wood is goncolo alves with the verneers being black, orange and green (hoppe style layout). When I play in Vegas and other places several people have asked me if it's a Szamboti.......$700

Currently it's the only cue I own but it's the only one I play with anyway.

Perhaps my statement seemed a bit harsh.
I wasn't trying to slight the cue as a work of art.
But, I imagine that'd be quite the profit.

You ever take it out to play?

I Have No Need To Play With It Anymore!

Since getting back (about 2 years ago), I am able to play just as well with my Lucasi now that I have worked on & customized it and adapted to it.
I doubt that I'll ever see my Balabushka again BUT I'm sure my Son & Daughter will.
