What a deal???????????????????????

Palmer

I Bought What I Thought Was A Palmer Cheap. Turns Out To Be A Palmer Industries Cue. My Short Lesson.

I would have passed on the picture of the tip alone. Too bad someone got ripped off. As the Flim Flam man said "The only reason I can cheat them is because they think they are cheating me. You cannot cheat a honest man."

Looks to be a poorly installed ElkMaster, only its not ElkMaster blue.

Did you sell that cue Jeff?:p

Actually, I very well might have sold that cue to the original owner. It would have been around 1997 or 98 for about $65 to $80. If only I had known I would have kept a few of the 20 or so of that model that I did sell.;)
I think that is Walmarts non blue version of the Elkmaster. That's why it went for so much:D :D
Same week this guy did not do quite as well! Check the questions. The shafts might not be bent. But, do you guys notice anything else about them? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...70013230607&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1

You mean BESIDES the fact that the collars and rings don't match.....AND that one is piloted while the other is flat faced?

NOPE!! DIDN'T SEE A THING!! :) :)

Kind of a shame...I do like the older Palmers....even some of the Palmer Industries cues were nice.

Right on the button. The strange thing is if I remember correctly the butt is flatfaced. The played looking shaft is piloted. How is that going to fit. The other shaft with the mismatched ring is from a cheaper cue. Look at the yellowy plastic ferrule and untrimmed tip.
