What?!?! Another cue in progress?!?!?! >>>

Yep, another cue I have on order. Not tooting my own horn, just wanted to share some pics with the forum. This will be a sister cue to the Fanelli butterfly cue I have on order. Both cues are a pseudo-collaboration between Fanelli and this cuemaker (shared veneers, wrap material and such). :D

Thats a nice set...

I have Fanelli going to make me a matching break / jump when he gets time. Using an ebony house cue and adding the small butterfly to the butt.

Man Iron Chef, going up against Flay, Batali, and Wolfgang seems to be a very lucrative career for you, being to afford all of these pretty cues you have on the conveyor belt and all. :p :D Seriously though, very, very nice cues. I'm starting to love butterfly splices now, but I can't afford them yet. LOL! MUST....HAVE....BAR...REN...BRUU...GGEEE...butterflies. LOL! :D :p

For training purposes (me being a collector in training and all...), what wood is that?!? As far as the main color of the cues go? I want to guess but I'm afraid I'd be in left field someplace. Rosewood...mabey? Doesn't seem dark enough to be an ebony of any kind. The butterfly and point vaneers are done with die or colored right, so what is the main wood called?
Thanks.

The main wood is ebony. The cues haven't been finished over yet and the pics were taken quick with adequate lighting. Once everything is done, both cues should look almost jet black. The veneers are dyed sycamores, pretty much a standard in cuemaking.

Roger and Big Jon: Its not Bender, hehehe. Take another stab at it!

Five pointer. Beautiful, precise points. Ebony on ebony with red and blue veneers. And the ringwork. I would have to make my guess the same as cueaddicts. Either Mottey or White. And that cue is going to be beautiful!!!

ironchef, i am so, so jealous of your Fanelli. That looks like its going to be a beautiful cue.

Deep: Thanks for the kind words. Nothing to be jealous of, save your pennies (in your case, shillings) and you can commission Fanelli to make you one. Trust me, its worth it.

Zack's on the money, its not a Skip. Skip uses natural wood veneers, but from what I hear if you insist and request, he will used dyed veneers, though on a limited basis.
