What type of cue has the most World Titles. I put this here because the main forum would turn into a cue doesn't make the player thread.

I was on a site that said Cuetec was responsible for 9 World Titles. I found that interesting and wondered if anybody had any more info

Good question....

I would just guess that due to Brunswick's heavy involvement with all (or at least most of) the old-school champions, they probably racked up the most titles with their cues. (1880s thru the 1950s)

Once Brunswick got out of the business of sponsoring pros (post mosconi) there really hasnt been one major manufacturer that has totally dominated player sponsorships. (so any titles won since then would have been divided up between more companies. ie cuetec predator viking etc)

If you include snooker, all the carom games, etc., there are European and Asian companies that might rival Brunswick.

If you're talking national titles in the US, it would be very interesting.
There were many American titleholders using MEUCCI ORIGINALS in the '80s...at least a dozen hall of famers played with MOs at one time or another. Martin, Rambow and Balabushka cues won their share, but there weren't as many events in those days...even Predators have been used by quite a few world and national champs...

This needs to be an * with this, you would want to separate those that use a cue that they are paid to represent and those that use a cue because they like it.

That may set Cuetec and Meucci and Predator in their own category.

I wanted to keep this as a strictly cue and title list. Maybe Nobody would have used a cuetec if they weren't given away but they used them and they won. I wanted to avoid that arguement
