Hello to all. I am new to the site and I mut say that I am extremely happy that I found it. The more and more I get back into pool, the more my eyes are opened to how large of a community I am a part of. With that being said, I wanted to get an idea of what kinds of people use this site. I see Pros on here, Master Cuesmiths, store owners. I am an amature APA league player in Charlotte, NC...who are you?

Buddha- you should have added an "all ove the above" catagory! haha!!
I'm in the Air Force, currently in S. Korea for 3 more weeks, then off to Scott AFB in Illinois. I'm a cue dealer, amatuer player, cue collector and soon to be an Instructor and cue repairman.

I TRIED TO POST WHAT I AM BUT YOU DONOT HAVE MY RANKING THERE, BOZO WHO CANT RUN 3 FRIGGIN BALLS. YOU GOTTA GET THAT UP AT ONCE, THERE ARE A LOT OF GUYS FROM CCB ON HERE.
YAPPIN WOLF NOW SENDS ME A DAILY PRIVATE EMAIL TELLING ME THAT I CANT BEAT NOBODY AND I CANT RUN 3 FRIGGIN BALLS. IF SHE KEEPS TELLING ME THAT EVERY DAY, SHE FIGURES EVENTUALLY I WILL BEGIN TO BELIEVE IT. My new DVD I am filming opens with me breaking and running a rack of 9 ball while talking about the instruction to take place, and yes, I do it one handed jacked up of course. Finally the proof will come out, FL can actually run 3 balls.
When they see it they will go liar liar pants on fire, he used smoke and mirrors, computer generated the entire thing in a computer. Maybe I am totally cpu generated as well and nothing but a projected hologram image? Perhaps I do not even exist? :D

Hey Budda,
Since you are an amateur pool player in North Carolina, you should check out our new Carolina Amateur 9-Ball Tour. Info. can be found at www.s-sbilliards.com or email: higgins3@gate.net for a new 2004 season schedule. We have a lot of exciting things planned for the Carolina Division next season. Please pass the word on this new tour to all amateur players in your area. Thanks-Tim Higgins-Tour Director.

Well, my MOS (AFSC in the Air Force) is 2T151 or Vehicle Operator/Dispatcher. I work the mid shift and my duties are on the computer. I sell cues on the internet and carry them when I play pool, I run tournements and a league here on Base 2 nights a week and take cues there also. I have a couple of people I'm teaching how to play pool and have many people wanting me to repair their old cues. Next July I'm going to spend a week with Timothy White (Billiard Sanctuary Academy of the Cueing Arts) and going to become a Certified Instructor. I plan to buy a cue lathe this Spring and start doing cue repair and also, if I have room in my new home, buying a pool table to give lessons. I stay very busy, it helps time fly by!
Thanks,
Zim

Hig,

Thanks for the tip, I am definitely going to join up on that tour next year. You made a stop at a few of the places that I play at. I am not a big 9-ball player but I need something to grow on. You will be getting an email from me soon. Thanks.
