When you just feel really slow and sluggish, your arm feels too tight, your balance is way off, and every time you take a practice stroke, you feel your body rocking side to side? I get like this once or twice a week. I used to think it was attributed to diet, but I'm not so sure anymore. I don't smoke anymore and I eat pretty healthy, but these days still come and go. Anyone else get like this? What do you think causes it?

happens when I dont get my usual dose of estrogen time.

I'ts called ! " THE FOCUS SYNDROM !!!!!!!!! " To play pool at any level you must focus . If your haveing a bad day or are not feeling well or theres something bothering you it will take away from your ablity to focus . But there's good news you can controll what happins to you .When your at the table and you feel these things you have to try to overcome them and play pool .I know it's hard to do sometimes. I know because it happins to me all the time. If you are feeling things talk your slef out of them and play the kickass pool you know how to play .

I think you may be getting tired. I like to stretch before I play to loosen up the muscles in my arms and especially in my back. Though I generally do this in my car, because people look at me wierd when I do it in the pool hall. That being said I wonder what people think when they see me doing hardcore stretches in the car!:D

The other thing I like to do is drink orange juice it wakes up the mind. I generally have a bottle of this before I go into work as well.

Reading posts like this, for starters, brings me down.

One thing I noticed recently is if I eat sugar I can't make a ball! I mean straight in one foot from the pocket. It was the stranges thing. I had just gone out with family, they had lunch and I had a dessert, we came back home and my son and I played bowlairds and I had to quit it was so frustrating. On the other hand I played Saturday nite and was really tired I hadn't slept well the nite before but, I played pretty well--for me I think it is diet...
PHM "off the sugar for good!"
