Hello,

I have been playing pool ever since I was a kid and 10 years ago I bought my 1st Cuetec and loved it. I still play with it today and I finally joined APA and another local pool league. My wife wants to buy me another cue since I told her I would love to upgrade. Well I have my choices narrowed down to 3. So what would you choose and why? Thanks in Advance!

Cuetec Edge R360 13-698
Fury RP-01
Lucasi Hybrid L-H40

Looks like you're shooting for the $200-$400 range. At that price, I would suggest getting an entry level custom. There are many cue makers out there that will make you a plain jane or sneaky pete for that price. Mind me asking where you are located? Could always go with a custom cue maker that is local to you. Talk to him about what you want and see what his feedback is. I believe that you can get an Al Romero or Bob Frey sneaky pete for about $300. There are several great Bebot cues in the $300 range also. I believe there is also LP customs and Leon Sly, just to name a few. All of these are custom and will hold their value much better as well. Do some shopping around the for sale/wanted section maybe ask around in the cuemakers section as well. I'm sure that someone will be able to build one for you to the specifications that you want.

I would look into havin LP do a custom conversion for you.
Or post in the Sale section here that you are looking for a cue in the "XXX" range and take your pick.

LP does some great Brunswick Tru-balance conversions! You might want to look into that. Old wood plays best! And for a really old Brunswick Tru-Balance to see new life as a two-piece custom cue is absolutely awesome!

Sorry I am from Dallastown, PA. I was actually planning on going down to Dundalk, MD to The Green Room to try out a few. Thanks for the advice!!
