What do you guys think of this cue?

Nice cue. Coming from a guy that has a collection of cues...I have tried almost everything...I finally realized that all that matters is that you like the cue. Some people may not prefer McDermott....but they can't refute they make a good cue...and stand by the warranty.

Nice job on the cue selection...looks good!

I've had two McD's. They had linen joints and I didn't care for the soft hit. Your cue appears to have a steel joint which I feel makes for a more solid hit.
At any rate you said you love the cue and that's more important than the specs or what you paid for it. Buying a cue is very subjective and each player has his or her own ideas of what makes a great cue. I have personally owned about 20 cues and around 40 to 50 shafts that I've experimented with over the years.
As far as I am concerned I now have the best cue ever made. It sounds to me you hit the jack pot first time out.

Bingo.

Congrats on the new cue. You'll love it. And it will perform very well for you, once you get to know each other.

If you need a heavier weight bolt, just let me know and I'll send you one for free, just pay the shipping (about $1.69 for shipping)..

Rain-Man, good on you. Very kind offer. Greenies on the way. Thanks for being one of the good guys.
