Forgot to mention maybe a foot race is in order?
I rarely ask people for action, but it seems a lot people ask me. Does my stroke, patterns, and position play look that bad?

Either that, or they already have the line on you. That's not hard to do these days with the camera phones, internet and such. Just last week, I got into a little action and after only about 30 minutes I got knocked by someone half-way across the country. My opponent had sent him a text message with a picture.
Action is dead!! You go to tourneys and no one wants to match up. And if they do they wanna steal your money. Looking to play anyone that wants to match up right in Tallahassee fl.
A few years ago I walked into pool room in Bakersfield Ca. It was always soft action and a good pit stop for gas $$ on the way to LA for me. I hadnt been in the room for 3-4 years, perhaps longer. I walked in and looked around and it had changed some-but there were people in there. Nobody could make a ball, but I had seen that before in there over the years and could still find a game, it was rarely a dry hole.
I looked around, and realized I probably wasnt gonna find a game, I walked up to the guy at the counter, I wont call him a house man. I asked if there was any action. He replied "Whats action?"
I knew then things were different in pool, this must have been in 2000-2003. The room was called "The corner pocket" on Ming Ave. I may have the years wrong, I'm not even sure if the room is still there, probably not. But when the guy working in a room says "Whats action?" you just know its bad. I asked how long he worked there as he looked at me like I was a nut case, I'm not sure what he was thinking about me, it couldnt have been good-"Whats Action" probably provoked weird thoughts in his head since he didnt know it means gambling, he probably thought I was looking for a whore or something weird., when I asked "How long you worked here?" He said "Over a year". I said thanks and walked out.
In a year he never learned what action was, WOW, if there was never action there, then I could chalk it up to ignorance. But there was easy action there-only one time did I run into a player, I broke even "Antiotch Frank". Somehow all the action disappeared to the point the guy working there never knew what action is.
