What do you think about Uni-loc joints?

I had this same cue, and loved it. I wish I would've never sold it. It never came loose on me!
 
I have a question

What, if any, are the differences between the Unilock joint and the Quick Release joint that J&J uses on the Break/Jump cue?

I have a J&J with the quick release joint at both places and just appreciate the convenience of it, and it assists in maintaining the continuity of the match.
 
I played with one for about 2 years and still use it from time to time. Never gets loose on me.

I disagree.

I've had a SP Predator with a Uni-Lock for three years now and it has never been a problem. It's fast and easy to put up and take down.

They're good joints there, for their quality is there, so they're there in my case over there in their place.

I am not a fan of them as my BK has come loose a few times. I really wish it had the old predator 5/16x14 joint because I think it is a much better joint.
 
The thing with uniloc joint is to keep the pin and the threads clean then it won't cross thread. Uniloc is a good solid joint that stays tight. Don't get uniloc mixed up with the cheap quick realease pins like aculoc. Uniloc is a good pin and I would buy one you just have to keep all the chalk and junk out of the soft threads and it should work just fine.:) :)
