In Pool School we put a small red dot on the top of the ferrule. At the end of the stroke, check where the red dot is.

Thats cool.

What a simple great idea. Would be a perfect training aid for beginners.

And folks who are having unknown issues with their stroke and follow thru.

I think I'll make one and give it a try.

Pops...Added to that, the students who have those issues can actually see themselves making the error, using slow-motion video (sometimes one frame at a time). Often, just SEEING yourself on video can enable the conscious mind to overcome the bad habit...provided that you know what to do to fix it. A qualified instructor can help you with that.

You can't fix what you don't know about...you can't fix what you can't measure...and you can only fix one thing at a time!

Seems like a lot of players look for new solutions to old problems. They often cost plenty and don't work any better than the old methods.

I'm with Randy. Simple is good and inexpensive.
