ive played with linen/leather/ and wrapless

what does it feel like to grip'
does it affect playability in any way??
thanks in advance for any replies

I can't imagine a cuemaker not clearing an ivory handle, so it will grip like any other wrapless.

It feels just like a wrap less cue. If cored thin enough it will play about like having an ebony handle in a cue.

One time at the BCA show I had an opportunity to handle an ivory handled cue. I believe it was a Gina. Besides handling like any wrapless cue, the thing for me that I noticed was a coolness to the touch from the ivory. The room was decently warm, but the handle certainly felt very cool in my hand. I found that surprising because other wrapless cues have never felt quite that way. At least for me. Have not seen or handled any other ivory handled cues since then, so its hard for me to say if that feeling of coolness is consistent.
