What Does Zero Flexpoint Mean?

.... I am just curious what Zero Flexpoint means?
Google is the friend that you haven't met yet. ;) There is also an associated cut-away view of the construction. I believe it hits a ton.

Get a performance advantage - GO ZERO!

The 11,75mm Zero FLEXPOINT® hybrid shaft was developed to make a technological leap forward. The development team behind Lucasi Hybrid took the basic shaft and reduces its mass at the top without a hollow bore, as with most technology brands. No "click end" and hollow sounding feedback in bumping! The Zero FLEXPOINT® unites the eight-part Total Sweet Spot Construction (TSC) ™ with a special taper (cut) and an extremely durable, ultralight ferrule, to give you a precise instrument with complete consistency, with very little deviation, and good feedback. As if that were not enough, Lucasi has a Premium Kamui-Pro Leather added.

Who knows? It seems to have achieved its intended purpose of catching your attention enough to consider buying one, so the marketing guys seem to have accomplished their goal.

And what does "Hybrid Shaft" mean?

I've always wondered about that too.
why don't you contact Cue and Case and ask them all these things???? Lucasi is owned by them and can answer all your questions FAR better/faster than us. for what its worth 'hybrid' as to lucasi usually meant it had a rubberized sport grip. rest of cue is most likely the same across the various lines.

Zero flexpoint was just a name for the ferrule that is used on some of the shafts

The more expensive Hybrid shaft is no longer available at CueandCase.com (the shaft with L and H rather than the custom shaft's L and C) .
OP's cue has a custom shaft. The Hybrid shaft was supposed to have had 8-piece radial construction but the cheaper Custom has 10 pieces!

Seems to be the ferrule. Standard length too.
The ferrule is not a typical ferrule. Lucasi brags that it "reduces its mass at the top without a hollow bore". It did the opposite --- it whittled down the shaft end and capped it with a more-hollowed-out, foam-filled light ferrule. I like it.

So........

I assume that most on here think this would be a very fine playing cue. And most on here think highly of Lucasi cues as a general rule.

Correct?

Since their first LD shaft, they've been right behind Predator.
Nowadays with CF shafts, there are more competitors in the performance cues department.
I've had good experiance with them in the past, there are a few cues that I even like and wouldn't mind owning but I'm not buying any cues!!! ;-)

Got photo of Lucasi Zero Flexpoint Midnight Black with Bocote Inlays and Elephant Embossed Black Leather Wrap Pool Cue - LZC39:
It has a black forearm with 4 Micarta, black, Bocote, Cocobolo long points and 4 Cocobolo and Micarta short points. The butt sleeve is black with 8 Micarta diamonds. Completing the cue is a stacked black leather wrap with custom Cocobolo, Bocote, and silver ring work.
