What glove do you use?

Back in the day, the best glove was Sir Joseph, I alway had one in my case just if conditions required one and except for a short period of time that I used a glove to see if it's better, I hardly used it.

These days with CF shafts, a glove is a must to have. I like the new type of gloves with the cut fingers.
I got a Rhino glove first, it's nice, a bit thick but the main issue is the seam at the end of the fingers is really thick and annoying.
Then I got the Predator second skin glove. It's nice and thin but after a short while it falls a part...

What glove do you use?
How long does it last?
Do you wash it? and how?
Why is a glove a must have with a carbon fiber shaft?

Think it easier to use Cue Wax on Shaft, and reapply as needed. I am talking a Wood Shaft.

Shaft stays smooth, and Chalk don't stick to it. Some people apply too much Chalk, and are part of problem from over Chalking.

Not talking about wooden shafts.
I don’t use a glove with wood.
I’m talking about CF shafts and other composite materials

I still have a few of those for wood

These. I don't really use them unless I have to but I've turned my friends onto these and they all use them now. They last damn near as long as a high dollar glove but they are $1.35 each. No need to worry about them, if they wear out or get stanky just toss them and open a new one. You could also sell them for $5 if you were ever inclined. We never did so, but it would be a legit hustle to make a couple bucks.

Don't let the cheap price fool you, they work as good as any glove and are surprisingly durable. You might go through 2-3 of these in the time you would go through 1 $20-30 glove.

Because CF catches dirt really fast and gets sticky really fast, so unless you want to clean it every few shots, use a glove.
If you are playing in optimal conditions then maybe you don’t need it.
My experience is different than yours. I shoot 60-100 racks a week and clean my CF shafts maybe once every month or so.

Here's why I like the Becue gloves, you can have the finger tips on or off, there is a place marked to cut the finger tips off and the glove does not unravel, on the palm side there is a rubberized coating that is very thin and your hand doesn't slide on the table, and they last a long time.

Is that in a pool hall or bar?
Do you have an anual avrage humidity of 70%?
I shoot primarily in pool halls. Austin averages 56 to 74% humidity depending on the month. That said, the pool halls run the AC at about 70F most of the year so humidity inside is probably quite a bit lower.
