What glove do you use?

My first gloves were silk glove liners from the Army surplus store in Tacoma. Just snipped off the finger tips and they worked great.
Now with my arthritic hands I wear compression gloves. $6 and change @ sold individually at Walmart.
They provide the same smooth feel and relieve the discomfort of arthritic hands as well. The fingers might be a little short for a tight loop bridge but when I loop bridge it's never tight .

What started this was yesterday I was at the pool hall and went gloveless for the first time, and I rather enjoyed not being hassled by putting on a glove. My Rogue, made for Pechauer cf shaft, is very slick and allows for a good transition into a gloveless bridge. I wouldn't mind some sort of talc powder, or something similar, to add to the gloveless transition for when my hands might be a bit damp.

Cuesoul. Cheap packs of 10. Not open finger glove
Can second these. Used them for a long time. They hold up well and are cheap enough to just replace.

I switched to the Predator Second Skin a few years ago and once i adjusted to the open fingers/thumb, i prefer them. They fit nice and tight and i have better grip on the table. I machine wash mine with the rest of my laundry with no issues.

Finally got around to trying a glove I've been interested in for a while, these Kamui quick dry ones with no extended cuff. I wear a watch on my left hand and the extended cuff on most gloves gets in the way and is very annoying to me. I've typically just cut that portion off but it always ends up looking a little sloppy. Finally tried these and they are so much better, love that is has velcro over the back of the hand still but doesn't extend past the wrist at all. By far my new favorite glove.

I wouldn't use talc, it's abrasive, if I run into a humidity problem I think I will pull out the glove, I don't think it will be hard to go back and forth.

12 pair for 6 bucks. These worked well for me a long time ago. 🤷‍♂️ Back when I was a working man I wore these when working in cold weather. They also served well when playing pool. Cotton string gloves. 🤷‍♂️
Edit:
Just cut the tips of the fingers off for a better feel of the bridge hand on the felt. Definitely a cheap er uh inexpensive way to experiment with gloves.

Why did glove come to be?

Why do you needs glove.

Follow the moola.
You could almost say the same thing about chalk, as players just played with Masters or some other similar chalk and it worked just fine for them. Now you have to have this $30 per Cube chalk, feeding the rich even more!
