It used to happen all the time and it's one of the reason it's almost impossible to do a Search on anything aiming related.

I was minding my own beeswax when the subject was brought up by someone else. And yes, I sold my copy at a discount because Stan said "no refunds." Stan should have stood behind his product.

Marketing research shows that every person that actually requests a refund represents a much larger percentage of customers that would like one but aren't willing to go through the hassle. That's the reason for all those late night "100% money back guarantees" on late night come-ons. Also, once you're told "no refunds" others who might have asked will not.

I met Lou back in the mid 80's and thought he was a stand up guy with lots of talent.
I'm sure he's much better now and probably proud of his skill.

I sure wish I was better now also but I didn't have time to pursue work and pool so I quit in 1997 and didn't start back until 2013.
Been struggling with health issues but I'm making some serious progress now.

Sometimes its a understandability issue and that really isn't the customers fault.

I was stationed at Lindsey AS, Germany from 81-87
I won the 14.1 USAFE tournament in 87.
I think it was in Ramstein.
I had two runs over 50 in the final game.
I think the highest I placed before was 3rd.
I remember being impressed with your play.

Two 50's would definitely get it. Nice shooting! I think I had a 40-something one year. The year I lost to DTL he ran a 70 something. Best I did was at the base-level when I ran a 75 and out on the base JAG :-)
