I just returned from attending both the ACS and the BCA events. I did not play in the ACS event I only watched. I’m sure the ACS tournament has been discussed here so I won’t elaborate unnecessarily. The entire BCA event was very well orchestrated. Plenty of events to play in and matches to sweat. As others have mentioned lots of big names in attendance, current players on top of the game as well as legends from yesterday. The Plaza was a perfect venue for this event and I‘m sure it will only grow. Mark Griffin and his staff have lots of plans for the future and I for one am excited to see what they have in store. As a league player I feel national tournaments are the centerpiece of any league system with regard to what can be expected by the membership from the national organization. A national event will deliberately or otherwise be the expression of the organization's underlying principals, philosophy and capabilities. And after attending both events I feel that is exactly what I saw in the past two weeks from both the ACS and BCA. ...we all know what talks ...and we all know what walks.
