You dont play with nuts, you play with sane, smart people, ones you can learn from, same on your teacher, find one, stay with him for life. You learn from smart people not dumb people. You watch what dumb people do at pool and then do the opposite of that. Advice fatty taught me many moons ago. All you learn from losers, is how to take their money.
 
with all your VAST gambling knowledge I thought you'd know the term - having the nuts....it means playing with a VERY significant advantage; you would win a huge percentage of the time. Sheesh. I'll break it down for you. You are playing someone you could give the breaks and the 5 out to, BUT you are playing him only giving him the 8 ball. You have the NUTS. This is a situation YOU would want ALL the time, but it would not test your game AT ALL!! Now you can go back and read my previous post with that definition in mind. enjoy

Been there, done that.

Unfortunately it was not as much fun as I had thought. I even posted a thread about my league experiences, but will not link it to this one, because I don't want this to devolve into yet another league-bashing thread.
