BCA does not appear to have an Illinois State Tournament.

I'm looking for an organization to sanction league with so my customers can attend a state tournament.

What organization would you recommend and why? - Looking for opinions from pool players who have attended a state tournament in Illinois

Thanks!

American Cuesports (ACS) puts on a great state tournament, I've been there several times. Most recently at Pheasant Run up in St Charles, IL and prior to that down in Decatur. Not sure about your geography but you can check out www.americancuesports.org or search for ACSISA (that's the specific Illinois group) on facebook, or shoot me a PM and I can try to get you in contact with someone. Apart from the state tournament, there is an annual "Midwest ACS Championships" held in Riverside, IA for any ACS sanctioned players at Riverside Casino in January. Also a great time.

Go NAPA and send them to the Nationals instead of the state level. It's not too hard to qualify and it's a good taste of national level competition. They also move the tournament around each year so you can see different parts of the country while still focusing on pool rather than the bright lights of Vegas or somewhere similar. Just something else for you to consider.

For IL the ACS is the way to go for a good state tournament. You also are close for the Midwest regional event.

Nice job on the room

definitely ACS. our Illinois tourney is bigger than acs vegas. over a hundred teams this year. a lot of Chicago teams. tough competition.
