What Irks me...

Recently I was contacted by an AZ member concerning a post I had on the "Wanted/For Sale" forum. I contacted the member by phone as requested and from there a nice conversation flowed back and forth about the cue I was looking for, pool and day to day life stuff.

After the conversation ended...I quickly got text messaged and pm'd if I would send him pics of my cue collection. Upon receipt of the pics I was immediately contacted to see if I wanted to sell off my entire collection. Now mind you I have several custom high-end cues in my collection ranging from older cues and cases to newer cues.

So, after I did my research I priced them accordingly and provided that person the prices individually however if you were really serious...make me an offer for the lot. Nothing...the calls, the text messages and PMs stopped. Which prompted me to contact the individual to see if they were still interested in selling me their cue much less my entire collection as I didn't want to muddy the waters sort a speak. The member apologized for not getting back to me due to family conflicts (no problem...life happens) but was still interested in one cue I have in my possession and would I be interested in a cash/trade deal. So I made my offer to the member and in a PM back they stated they would contact me the following morning. Again, no call, no text and no PMs...so I followed with a courtesy phone call and that member apologized for not calling (was busy) but would call during my lunch. Nada...zilch that was three days ago yet he shows recent activity (as of last nite) on the AZ site including a post.

Now the point of this thread is..."I'm not concerned whether you do or do not want to purchase my cue(s) but we're all adults with a common interest on this site". A simple "Yes" or "No" answer via PM, text or phone would have sufficed so that we can move forward on this. I have other people that want to sell me a cue that I have to tell them "Well, I waiting for the other person to let me know what they are going to do", when in the end nothing happens except for lost time.

If you have time to log onto the site check your PMs, see what's for sale and post a thread...you have time to contact the person you are conducting business with an answer either way.

Has anyone else had this happened to them? If so, how did you approach it (as this is the first time this has happened to me)?

Don't mind me...I'm just venting here.
