? What is a awsome light wood for a jump cue handle.

I was wondering what is a realy good wood for a jump cue handle? I was thinking about ordering a custom jump cue. I want it to be pretty light. Right now I play with a bludworth jump cue and My girl friend and I love it LOl. So now it's her's so I want to get a custom one any cue makers have any for sale post me a pic and a price I may be intrested in it thanks.

As Sheldon said, Lacewood is very light and different, so is Big Leaf Curly or Birdseye Maple, most of the Burls are very exotic looking and light in weight although they would need to be cored.

whatever wood you use, core it and leave it hollow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oops didnt mean to give away any secrets

you see weight is the main concern on a jumper. Thats why I laugh when someone shows me a jump cue with a steel joint,,,,,,,,,that adds 1-1 1/2 oz right there

btw, when you core it plug both ends in order to keep it secret
