Exactly as shown in the picture in the first response, straight grain or birds-eye maple, with ebony or rosewood points/butt sleeve, with three or four veneers. Stainless steel joint with steel or silver rings in the joint collars. Usually with Irish linen but sometimes with leather wrap.
The first cue pictured is also a "tribute" cue. One that was made exactly like an older cue made by a master Cue Maker. The cue exhibits all the atributes of an original, just made in the modern era. Classic veneer colors, S/S 5/16x14 piloted joint. The cue even has Cortland wrap and a NOS Brunswick red bumper.
