What is the best 2x3 case on the market?

I'm trying to look at utility, compactness hence 2 x 3, light weight, and max storage
and economical would work also.

I've got a case thats working, but looking just to see what's out there that one of you
fellows might have and recommend,

I didn't see one on the J & J page but I did find this one

There is a J&J 2/3 here:
C231
2 butts, 3 shafts, black, inside is satin divider
$60

Not a fan of either type of case separators pictured above.

When I am considering a case, I look for the following:
  • long enough to use joint protectors or longer than standard 29" shaft, but I usually don't
  • separate tubes that go all the way down for each butt / shaft
  • can accommodate the butt joint pins pointing up and the cue tips down (female shaft joint area up, I have been cleaning my tips off with a clean paper napkin after every shooting session and it has been keeping my case and shafts so much cleaner)
  • has some nice and unique styling
  • has a good shoulder strap and large pockets
  • well made / made to last
My favorite case so far is one of the following Instroke Premier case configs:

Yes, it is more expensive, but it is worth it and it meets all my criteria items above.

If just going to poolroom/bar and back any of the above cases work fine. I used a J&J with the thin dividers for yrs and never had an issue. Not everyone wants to drop big coin on a basic case. I love my 3-6 JB especially at the insane low price i got it for. I'm thrifty/frugal/cheap. ;)

For me it has to be a butterfly case. I find the tube-style doesn't work for me.

I got one when Tom Simpson passed from a bunch of his stuff. I don't like the case, but it can haul 4 x 8 plus
you can put stuff in the middle not in the tubes. You can almost use it as a suitcase!

Now here is a new twist on the butterfly. If I was early in my playing career, I'd have this one.

I would agree until this came along. I have no reason not to get a JB rugged case but for some reason
I want one of these even if I sell it later.

Crap. Now I need to get one of these. Does it come with pockets?

The whole back side is a big pocket. Its big enough for my slip on extension.

I just purchased one of these, and it has ample storage to it. Feels like the cues are secure and I can put all the accessories I want in it. It is at a reasonable price as well, and good quality.

That case is out of stock, but I did find this one. Unless the model in the picture is a small person or they did a PhotoShop thing, this could definitely double as an over-night suitcase. No length listed in the description. You gotta wonder how the quality is at that price though.

I hope this pastes.
It's a decent size no doubt.

I suspect that they're about to get a barrage of orders. Unfortunately, they only have blue, so I don't want to be walking into a get-together with you all with everyone walking around with the same case. I need a differentiator.
