What is the best tip for a jump break ?

Some say you should ask this question in the main forum, unless you are buying or selling a tip.
 
jump break tip....

I tried many before I was happy with what I had on my break cues. I never was happy with the phenolic tip ferrule combos. I like to break for the second ball in eight ball and could never really control the cue ball with most of the tips I tried. The two that I like the most are samsara and tiger icebreaker tips. Since this is very subjective I think you will have to try a bunch before you find what you are looking for. If you plan on jumping often I had better luck with the icebreaker tip, but for breaking both worked very well.
 
Samsara if you want a really hard tip to break with. White diamond is nice on jump cues. Havent tried the tiger bj nor icebreaker. I use a pressed water buffalo tip, single layer, on my break cue. Nice for control on the break and long jump shots. For the closest jumps I use g10 tip.
