What is the best tool to trim the leather tips, after they are installed on the ferru

after installed on the ferrule, if I use a rest for a knife or razor blade?

Or, I have seen the Tiger Trimming knife that is available?

Or, I have a Scalpel and a blade #23,

Is this a good trimming tool, will a scaple or razor blade be to flimsy to trim the tip to a uniform size and crown the tip off?

Lenox titanium coated utility blade.
Catch them when they are on sale at Home Depot.

If you don't mind sharpening, hand planer blade and marking knives are also very good.

The scalpel would be a nice tool to gouge your fingers with.

Scroll down to right hand/left hand bevel knives. I own an assortment of each in different sizes. This place has some great woodworking tools and prices are good. I've ordered many times from them and haven't had any problems.
