in this picture i want to know what is the true CTE than sir stan shuffet aiming system,...i want to learn this aiming system but i dont know exactly what is the CTE means all about:embarrassed2: can you please me give some advice or pattern what is CTE in picture or any
Unfortunately there is no way to avoid at table training. Actually, I want to say fortunately, because it is fun.
I believe, whatever aiming system you use, it will work as long as you practice. With a time you will memorize positions and will just know how to shoot.
Aiming system can reduce complexity due a person's perception specifics. For example, CTE users like to think they do the same thing over and over again and for some people it is natural, they see and understand what word "align" means, while others do not understand it, it is out of their perception. It is also stressed it is a visual system.
Some others think what they do is a feel system, probably because they have developed this sense very well and vision is secondary, just a guidance to get a feel.
Some use fractions of the cue ball, some use the object ball, some use the cue stick to aim.
Some stress the way they aim is aiming, some insist it is not.
Some use deflection to create angles.
Some people like to know what they are doing, others do not but still are able to do amazing things.
People are different and I want to say depending on what your preferences are and your natural abilities one system will work better than another.
What really matters is consistency, body mechanics, how it is performed, how stroke is trained, etc. Even here there I've seen few variations.
And yes, I agree with others, it is not even close to CTE Pro1. CTE Pro1 uses 2 lines:
1. Center to Edge
2. Edge to "A","B", or "C".
You can try to draw it and ask if it is correct, not sure if you receive an answer, but at least you can try.
You also can try to reverse engineer it. Just place 2 balls so they have the same point, e.g. "A" and the same sweep. Align your body position so you can pocket the ball. Try to do it again and then try to catch the visuals. What picture do you see? Shift the balls a little bit, what changed?
yap im interested to this aiming system,,i think this system will increase my pocketing skills unlike my aiming system i use now CUE STICK aiming
