Sitting at home recovering from Rotator cuff surgery, I ran across this cue.
Signed George Balabushka clear as day - just like the Adam GB series - but in gold ink similar to an old upper end Helmstetter I had once.
Nice piece of wood (rosewood? Colo?) - no points. looks to have a higher gpi shaft. If straight it should make a nice player at an asking price of two hundred.
Lady said her high roller ex bought it for her and she just doesn't play anymore.
If I were a few days better I would zip across town to have a look.
Hopefully AZ can teach me something. Did Richard Helmstetter make a few one-off Balabushka tribute cues that were not part of the Adam GB line?
Anyone know of any authorized Balabushka signed merry widow tributes?
This is kind of a cool puzzle. What gives?
