HI - I recently purchased a new PFD custom cue from a forum member, but they don't recall what the ferrules are made of and Paul also doesn't remember. Paul said he usually uses ivory, but this doesn't look like ivory to me unless ferrule ivory is different than the ivory used elsewhere on the cue.
Is there some way I can figure out what it is? When facing it off on my lathe it peeled off easily for whatever that's worth.
