What is this Palmer worth?

My friend had a stroke and is selling off his cues and cases. This one is a Palmer Original Model #7 from the 3rd catalog. It was refinished and rewrapped by Proficient Billiards. It comes with a Palmer case and extra ferrules w/tips.

Here are the specs.

Length 57.5
Butt weight 15.97
Shaft 1 4.45 oz/13.2mm very slight roll
Shaft 2 3.82 oz/12.9mm
Joint is Brass 5/16x18

I haven't seen that Palmer sell but I'd say if he could get 1000$ he'd be lucky. I'd like to say in the 800$ range but with the case a hair more. Hard to tell. I don't think you have a 1000$+ cue. Too plai. No points

800 for that? WOW... Dude I am at half that.. but then again.. I like 400.. :p With the case I think 650.

JV (---if that cue is 800, my Wico point is 2500 JMHO

It comes with the case and most Palmer cases are very collectable also. I would estimate around $800 for everything also: 95% condition cue w/ 2 shafts, case, and spare accessories/parts.

I have just sold 3 Palmer cases in the last few months and they bring 150.00 to 200.00 depending on condition. The # 7 third catalogue cue should bring around 400.00 to 500.00 tops. You will get that if you find someone who needs a #7.

I agree with some earlier posters. The cue is in the $400-500 range. Add something (not a ton) for the case.
