Plus you got any Tips or Tricks for keeping in the Best Playing Shape.;)

Personally I am ALMOST 100% Hooked on Tiger Hard Layered Tips, as they seem to last real well, require little Care with the Exception of some Tapping with a Tip Taper when they become Smooth, and a good Heave Coat of Master Green Chalk, that also helps maintain Tip Shape.

I hate a Smooth Tip, as I seem to play 100% better when my Tip a little Rough.

I've shot with the Tiger, Tiger Everset, Mori, Tailsman Med, and currently I'm trying a hercules 2. I liked the everest, but not as much as a simple triangle. Time will tell how the h2 works out. Triangles are always a fall back, just seem to work really well and much like a layered tip need very little to maintain.

I do have one Cue with Hard Hercules Tips also. Thnik they also are pretty Solid....

I prefer the tailsman soft, hold its shape great and justs needs a tip pik once in awhile!

This is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. Once a tip is shaped initially, leave it alone and never shape it again, except to remove the mushroom. This gives the tip a chance to break in for your personal shooting style. For a player that uses a lot of spin, the tip will naturally take on more radius than a player that using nothing but center ball. Every time you reshape a tip, it has to go through the whole break-in process again. Don't blame the tip every time you miscue. Usually, it's because you didn't chalk up or your hitting the ball too far off center.

Make any sense?

I agree 100% Jack and have been telling people that for years. No one seems to believe me and they are continually grinding on their tips and wondering why they don't last long.

I do a lot of hitting with Extreme English and Do not do Much Tip Shaping, just a little Roughing. Mushrooms get Burnished with a NEW Bill in the Denomination I have in my Wallet.

I've always been a hard core Moori fan since they hit the US. A lot of guys like the Tigers and Talismans but I am very neutral on those. However-I recently received several shafts with Hercules layered tips on them and like the way they play and hit - a lot. Its tough to beat Moori.

For what its worth - the Tiger break tip is very, very good !!!!
