What joint thread is this?

This is a bungee break/jump and also my son's JJ break/jump has the same. I thought it was a radial but the drive set I bought with the radial doesn't fit it, this is a smaller diameter 5/16" I believe

Not a Cue-Maker, but I have a J&J jump/break, and a Lucasi jump cue, with the same pin. The shafts seem to swap seamlessly. It's probably a bastardized acme thread of some sort. AZB member Newsherriffintown may be able to help you as well. He makes all sorts of extensions, caps, etc. Good luck.

just ordered a j&j jump cue with the “quick lock” joint, i believe it to be this one. planning on getting a whole set of jim baxter j/ps but now im worried that he wont be able to do them for the jump cue, since its a funny thread.

PracticeChampion, did you ever get this figured out?

Some manufactures have the parts made for them and they are just not available to the public.
It is great to buy a cue for under $200 cause if it breaks you just buy another.

The quality of import cues have greatly improved in the last 10 years to the point custom cue makers can not compete with the quality and price. Even McDermott had to resort to import cues for their "Lucky" line of low cost cues and the quality is outstanding.
How could I ... as a cue maker ... ever make a cue of such quality for under $150 ???
How about making a shaft for less than $100 ... forget it!
