Hump ? What HUMP ?

I've asked this question online once or twice in the past seven years, without getting the answer. Since the readership at Azbilliards has increased so dramatically, I'm going to try again. I have a cue that I got for $100 about 20 years ago. It has no wrap, a dark wood butt and maple shaft. On the buttcap are the makers letters 'pr'.. Does anyone know who made a/the pr cue ? (You might as well answer, because I intend to ask this question every six or seven years like clockwork, until I get the answer).. Doug

do you have a picture of it?

No, and I don't think a picture would help any. The entire butt is dark wood, either stained or possiblly cocobolo (No wrap). It has a white ivory/plastic/phenolic ? butt cap, ferrule and joints, with the letters pr on the butt cap (in lower case letters)...

PR doesnt ring a bell. Could the rest of it been worn away, any signs of that. Any information on the joint?

No information on the joint and the 'pr' is the entire signature (note: it's a small p and a small 'r', not 'R').
I thought that it might be an early Paul Rubino, but I showed it to him in 1998 and he said that it wasn't one of his...

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, pictures of this cue could be worth thousandS of dollars! You have been unsuccessful in finding out who made this cue thus far, so maybe some photos of the butt cap, signature, joint and joint pin could be helpful. It's worth a shot, isn't it?
Thanks,
Zim

Well, I don't have a digital camera and I can't post up a picture on this WebTv 'Classic', but when I go up to Murray Tucker's to pick up an extra shaft for a Tucker Cue, I'll see if he can take a few shots and host my cue picture.. thanks

It's not a pr cue...it had to do with the MAKER of the cue. Some letters may have gotten worn out over time. My guess is either Willee or Jimbo.
