What kind of cue?

Do you know who may have made the pictured cue? There was a number etched in the butt but according to Fred Kohara that number matches the same type cue as pictured but the cue does not have the TAD logo.

Looks like a TAD to me. I think he started numbering his cues in or around 73. I want to say he started using a logo in the early 80's, but I have no clue if that is true.

Thanks, I did go back to Fred and stated the serial number I gave him matched a Birdseye maple cue made in April 1981, but he did not indicate whether a logo was put on this cue.

I removed the rubber bumper and it's etched on the wood around the screw hole.

I added couple more pics of the bumper and shaft area. Hopefully this cue can be identified. Appreciate all looking and helping out.
