What kind of layered tip does Mike Stacey use on his cues?

At the recent DCC, I bought a new Mike Stacey cue which I like very much. I am not all that in love with the tips however. Does anyone know what brand of tip he uses these days? The cue was new and unchalked, so I assume it was made fairly recently.

As you can see in the pics below, it is a layered tip. But it does not look like a Moori or Kamui or any other tip I am familiar with.

Everest tips look kinda like that.
I just changed the pic to show both tips. I have had Everest tips and as I recall, they are more uniform in color on the sides of the tip. But I guess they could be Everest. Thanks for the response.

Why not call or email him? His ferrule installation is clean and crisp!

Martin, I guess Mike saw this post as he sent me the following PM:

"Hello,
They are a layered Water Buffalo tip I put on all my cues unless customers request a specific tip. They glue and cut very well and hold chalk..however they are a little hard.

Hope this helps
Mike Stacey"

Those look like Super Pros to me.

Dick

I take back what I said about them being Super Pro tips. I put a couple on a month or so ago that someone had gave me and that finished up looking similar to these but I just went in and installed another out of a new box and it stayed much redder. Sorry about that.
