Any French leather tip experts? Got these in a case from a guy who recently passed....an old timer and the bag he had them in looked like it was a century old itself. lol

The front two are the same kind of tip. Back two are different tips. I'm thinking the darker one on the left might a very old LePro. It has no pad.

Thanks for any help.

If these are the old BB French tips I am going to take a guess at the red backed tip being the Champion and the black backed tip being a Crown.

I think there is two different versions of the Champion tip? One is the old original (the cou'de gra of tips). And then the Chandivert Champion tip, which is "ok" as well.

Of some of the ones I got, the older ones seem to have a dark burgundy wine backing, and the newer Chandivert has a more red backing. I used to play with Champions in the 80s. But will be doing a more modern comparison soon, between the two as sometimes the memory makes things seem more grand than they really are...

The red is a Chandivert Champion and the gray backed ones are Chandivert Super Royals, the last one may be a Chandivert Rocky which came out later and was very hard. This is the Chandivert brochure. By the way who died?
