This will be the last post on this subject. I have updated the prize pool by putting the TD fee back into the fund for the players and extended the payout to 6 places. I think Allen Hopkins has a great idea for the betterment of pool.
It seems from all the posts I have read on this, that a lot of people have a negative view on this tournament. I am a pool player that believes we, as players, can move the sport to where it belongs. That there is a place for everyone to play and enter tournaments.
I see many cue makers and instructors as well as room owners and players on this site. It takes all of us to make this work.
Zim's rack is running a tour and it looks like a very good plan. I am talking to other rooms in my area to make it work. Tony Crosby is starting a tournament format in central Florida. I am telling my friends about it and we are going to go support the effort by entering at least one. These and many more like them are doing what they love and want the best for the sport. Support your local room and TD.

it seems like you are doing way more than you need to, its tough to field a qualifier for a tourney without much buzz. i know me personally Id rather go and support the seminole tour in nc the same weekend as the hopkins tourney. I would normally come play in your qualifier but I have a dentist appointment that day that cant be avoided.
I have told every good player in my area about your qualifier and I hope you get enough to filll it up

I want to thank you for supporting me in the way you did. It means a lot to me. I would like to meet you sometime. I am going to try and get some of the guys to play in Tony's tour. I'll let you know more as time goes on. I hope all goes well at your appointment.
