If you could vastly improve one part of your game to make yourself play at a higher level what would it be?

personally for me, i think position play would bring my game upto the A rated area. Which in turn also leads to running out more often too. So its kinda a double edged sword.

And you can mention any part of the game, your break, jump shots, banks, safties, position play, shot making, mental toughness, using english, combos, Etc.

My mental game. I get nervous and shake sometimes which leads me to drinking to calm my nerves. I played in a tourny once and my face was even shaking when I played a tough opponent. This usually happens if I'm playing above my speed.:(

I'm still a novice, so I said shotmaking.
I have recently made dramatic recent improvements to my stroke and alignment (thanks in large part to this forum!), but I have lost my angle in the process. I feel confident that once I get these new changes settled in, my centerball shotmaking should get back up to a pretty good consistency for most basic cuts pretty quickly. However, when it comes to shooting w/ english and compensating for throw, squirt, and curve, I have a ways to go.

I was devided between position play and mental toughness because there wasn't a pattern option. I selected the mental toughness because i'm not bad at picking out patterns when there's no pressure (for instance when I'm practicing) and have lots of time to plan one out. But when it comes down to it, I have to really focus to find the patterns.

So that's where I'd like to improve. I'm convinced it's just a matter of mental excersize.:D

I chose playing safties. Not because I'm bad at playing them, It's just that I never seem to do it enough. Mostly early in the rack, I tend to go for it too much and make it too easy for my opponent.
