Does anyone know what pin this is and for what cue this is the shaft end.

Brunswick used one like that in the old days. So did import companies. Not used today, check it with a pitch gauge
 
The question of "What pin is this?" is easily answered by first measuring the pin's diameter.
That will tell you whether it's a 5/16, 3/8 or whatever. Next is thread-count or 'pitch'.
Even without a 'thread' or 'pitch' gage, pitch can be determined by counting the number of threads
in 1" of length (of the pin). This applies to all SAE threads. Metric threads are a different story.

Besides your pin, the other thing that caught my eye was the cleanliness of the jnt. faces.
I don't doubt the age of the cue which to me makes my observation more interesting.
Those faces are really clean for a cue of that vintage and the wood has held-up surprisingly well.
And if that's the orig. wrap, holy my goodness man, that looks like a keeper. Congrats.
