I just wanted to get a feeling on the most common cue tip radius. As of now I am using a nickel radius. I am thinking about switiching to a dime radius. I remember a few months back a top pro told me he uses dime. He said he can play position much more accurately with a dime than nickel.

I prefer between a nickel and a dime, but closer to nickel. Too much curvature seems to lead to me put on more spin than I intend, roll farther than I want, etc. I think that's the only benefit I could get out of a dime radius - more spin. But as long as I maintain good position the spin factor seems to lose its relevance. I think the nickel just gives me more control and accuracy, and it's easier to maintain the tip.
