Hello,

I am new to table-repair. I am starting out by working on my gold crown III at home...

Which cushion profile do I use to replace the rubber on my GC III? K-55 or K-66?

Also, which tables use what kind of rubber? I think that:

K-55 is mostly commercial tables; valley, dynamo, etc...

U51 is for ANTIQUE tables like monarch, etc...

K-66???

And the weird right angle shape is for carom and snooker?

Cool, thanks guys.

FMOK; what types of tables use which types of rubber? Is there a list available somewhere?

Thanks!

rubber

k-55 for a Gold crown 2. K-66 is used on a lot of tables, it just depends on what it is. Ron

k-66 is pretty much the standard, k-55 is pretty much Brunswick, but not all Brunswicks, Artmeis is complicated, and the rest you can see at Mueller's or some of the other sites.
Most of us just go with it, and find out what goes with what, because without 1st hand knowledge of the table, you don't know if it's been modified or not. Assuming that it has not, has led to errors that take money out of your pocket in making the new corrections from your first assumption. Too many people fixing what ain't broke in the world. But some, like Ernesto and Oscar, can make it work and play good, most don't.
