What set of balls do you recommend to get?

What do you guys recommend to get, I need a good set of balls for my home table, need it to play well, durable and not breaking my bank, what are my options and I love to hear pros and cons and advices, thanks in advance.

P/s: I have a 9-ft GC 3 and Simonis 860 in tournament blue
Dynaspheres, they stay cleaner than the Aramith duramith sets, are cheaper and have better tolerances.

sorry, thought I included this earlier

Wow everything is like 30-40% off vs US price
I’m in, will definitely check this store out tonight to see how tax, fee and shipping look like. Thanks

I did some "search" and for now I really want to try out the "Dynaspheres" balls, in traditional color, that everyone everywhere I saw said they are as good and durable as the high end $300-$500 Aramith and Predator ones, and cost only 1/2 or 1/3.

I'm just gonna get an additional multi dotted cue ball on the side (I can't stand playing the all-white cue ball lol) and call it a day, question #1 is which cue ball to get, a good old Aramith, or maybe try to find a dotted Dynaspheres to match the brand??? Good thing is that all of that, a ball set + cue ball, will cost me around $200, I'm def. in for that if the quality of Dynaspheres is the same as rumored lol.

Problem and question #2 is that I can't find a new Dynaspheres Bronze or Dynaspheres Vanadium set anywhere here in US, I prefer new because they are already at a reasonable price and I don't know what is "used", could be few home games or could be banging for years in pool halls lol, my fav website Saybert is out of stock for Dynaspheres. Help...

The love for Dynosphere on here is cultish. I bought a set of the bronze. I really like the font and the colors. But the tollerances are no where near Aramith. I can PM some pictures. I prefer the Super Aramith Pro as others have mentioned. You can also get a used set of the Aramith Tournament Balls from the WPBA. Shipped for a resonable price. Wrt a cue ball, I have the red measle ball and the Predator Acos black triangle ball. I prefer the black triangle. The smaller black triangles are less distracting as the red round spots.

There are already multiple threads on the Dynasphere tolerances compared to Aramith.

I'm getting the traditional color Dynosphere Vanadium 572 set, and a Dynosphere red-dotted cue ball
Kozoom store price is awesome. Thanks everyone again for the advices and links.
I added few more MISC to get to $200 and get free shipping to U.S., takes 4-5 day, I'll give it 7-10 days LOL, no tax as well.

Other options, such as Aramith ball set, are all out of stock right now, price is crazy good, like almost half vs USA price, I don't know why, but I'd def. come back later to get the Aramith Tournament Black 57.2 mm Pool Balls for $270 when it is back in stock again...

To be honest, if they have Aramith balls ins stock, I'll get the Aramith Tournament Pro-Cup TV 57.2 mm Pool Balls or Aramith Pro-Cup TV 57,2 mm - US Pool Billiard Balls in a heartbeat for like $250 and $200 respectively, but they are not available...

What tolerances?

I have 11 sets of balls. Cents are my favorite but my Aramith Premier set gets the most play. They more closely replicate the balls I see outside my own home, whether it be hall, bar or tournament play. IMO, Aramith Premier are the most popular ball set in the US.

I have many different version cue balls that pretty much covers the gambit. All of the Blue Dot Centennial cue balls
are with my pool ball sets and haven’t see much, if any, play. My favorite remains the Aramith Black Dot Cue Ball.
I have an elephant ivory cue ball that’s pretty old and it must seem very odd to actually play with ivory billiard balls.

I picked up a set of Centennials a few years ago for $100 on local craigslist. Got some cleaning stuff from the local store and it's been these sets for me since. Before splurging, check out your local listings on both facebook and craigslist because you never know.

Since we are on the subject of pool balls, I remember seeing a set on this site that I'm sure were made by Olhausen and they looked as beautiful as the Centennial set. Does anyone know if I'm imagining this or if that set actually exists? And if it does exist, why does it seem they are impossible to find?

Olhausen balls were made by Cosmos in Korea. Balls are still made just not imported now.

If all this discussion has anyone interested, I can give members a good deal on new Dynasphere Gold sets. PM me if you have any interest.

You have a GC. There is only 1 correct answer.

Why would you not rock a set of Centennials?
I'm broke that's why

But really, I didn't want to pay ~$500 for a new set of Centennials. never played with them before, or maybe I didn't know.
Mostly I've seen and touched Aramith, fro low ends to high ends.

99% people here saying Dynasphere has all the good stuff from Aramith and 1/3 cheaper, why not try... they have no financial incentive from Dynasphere, or anyone else, some even with intensive "institution typed" researches done on the Dynasphere ball vs others, showing they're as good if not better

If this Dynasphere set failed me, I'll stick with Aramith or maybe Centennials :geek:

they are having a black friday / cyber monday sale right now...
Yes. Thanks for the link btw!
Crazy sale, they know how to do BLK Friday right in Europe 😁
Most Aramith set is out-of-stock though, I was able to grab a Dynasphere set and a Dynasphere dotted ball, I'm happy.

Never seen another set of balls that looked like this. Buy what you want. I'm never buying another set of dynospheres.

Is that a chip at 1 o'clock?
It looks good, the warm white aka yellowish don't brother me, I don't like 5000K day-light hospital white anyway 😁
