Well the best I tell you is when gambling or playing tournaments, always buy the wifey something nice or take her out on the town.
When you play league try to get her to go with you or even try to get her to start playing league.

A good topic just came to mind.

How do you figure out how a table plays? Say you enter a tournament and you're playing on a table you've never played on, what shots do you try out to discover the quirks of the table? Things like banking angles, kick angles, speed, how tough the pockets are, and if the table is level or not.

I usually test my own kicking tracks first and then some banking hard tracks because in 9 ball and 10 ball theirs very little slow banking. Then I test the pockets with the cue ball shooting down the rail (usually about 1/2 ball off the rail) with medium speed with top english.
These are my test.
